Modica Group Network Status

Planned Outage September 10:30pm and 11:00pm

We will be utilising our maintenance window this week, with a planned, but very short outage (MAX 5 mins, but more likely 1-2minutes) while we switch to some additional replicated infrastructure and then another very small outage while we switch back to ensure both are running in parallel.

Therefore, the outage will look like this: 

Wednesday 14th September (NZ Time)

10.30pm – up to 5 minute outage. 

11.00pm – up to 5 minute outage. 

This will effect ALL customers.

Outage for some Wellington hosted virtual-machines

Today we have experienced a single VMWare host on our network exhibiting intermittant and periodic outages.  Affected customer machines will have experienced intermittant outages.

We're currently restarting the affected host, if this does not resolve the outage we will migrate affected machines to alternative VMWare hosts.

Update (5:12PM): The affected VMWare host has now been restarted and normal service has now been restored.

Wellington internet connectivity outage

This evening we have our Wellington hosting and Internet access was unavailable between 7:48PM and 8:03PM.  Customers with hosting and Internet access in Auckland were unaffected by this outage.  All Wellington based hosting and Internet access should now be back online, if you're still experiencing problems please let us know.

Vodafone NZ SMS Issue Resoved

The issue with Vodafone NZ SMS Messages has been resolved and any queued messages will have now been delivered.

Outage Vodafone NZ SMS/MMS Messages

Vodafone NZ currently have an issue that is causing a delay to all SMS/MMS messages to and from Vodafone Mobiles (started at 19:22).   All other carriers are unaffected at the moment. Your pending messages will be queued & will be delivered when the connection is back up.   Currently we have no ETA for this issue to be resolved.

Vodafone and Telecom issues resolved

All services appear to have resumed normal operation. Please let us know if this is not the case for you.
