Vodafone SMPP is currently down.

Vodafone's SMPP is currently down due to a power outage to their Sky Tower network node.  An ETR is not currently available but we will update when we have more detail.

UPDATED @ 2:42pm: Service has been restored.

Vodafone is Back up.

Vodafone NZ has had a widespread outage this morning including SMPP and Broadband, the SMPP issue appears to now be resolved and we have cleared 30,000 sms messages we had queued.

Vodafone NZ SMS Issue

Vodafone NZ is experiencing some issues with its SMPP connections this morning, this means that there is a delay to Vodafone SMS messages currently.

UPDATE: 4:20am - Vodafone NZ are still experiencing issues with their SMPP connections, the issue is being escalated within Vodafone.  All Vodafone NZ SMS messages will be queued until this is resolved.

Vodafone is back up again

Vodafone's SMPP appears to again be back up and running.

Again messages sent during the outage will most likely now be delivered, if any message was urgent or important it may be prudent to send again or to follow it up with your contacts.

We will of course keep monitoring this and update again if there's further issues.

Vodafone's SMPP is now back up and running. Messages sent during the outage will most likely now be delivered, if any message was urgent or important it may be prudent to send again or to follow it up with your contacts.

We are awaiting advice from Vodafone following a Vodafone network outage.
SMS applications will obviously be affected by this outage, We will post an update when we hear back from Vodafone.

Orbit Drive Data Centre Outage

At approximately 1:55 this morning our Auckland Data Centre (Datacom Orbit Drive) has gone offline.

The entire Data Centre has gone offline and affects all suppliers with equipment hosted at Datacom Orbit Drive.

Updated @ 8:00AM: The power issues at the data centre have now been resolved and all services have been restored. An Incident Report will be forwarded to affected customers in due course once further details are received from the data centre operators.

Telecom XT Network outage

Monday December 14th NZDT 12:40
The Telecom XT Network have experienced an unplanned outage, which has resulted in no network coverage south of Taupo since early this morning. Affects all Voice, SMS and Data services.

As a result, users in these regions have no service on the XT Network. The issue has now been identified, and work has commenced to restore services in these areas.
