Telecom are having intermittent problems with the MSG service at the moment, customers sending may find that text messages are queued at Telecom for some time and unfortunately, due to the issue, the message may then be delivered multiple times by Telecom.
This issue is at Telecoms end and we will post a message here when they have let us know they have resolved it.

Vodafone NZ has had a widespread outage this morning including SMPP and Broadband, the SMPP issue appears to now be resolved and we have cleared 30,000 sms messages we had queued.
Vodafone's SMPP appears to again be back up and running.
Again messages sent during the outage will most likely now be delivered, if any message was urgent or important it may be prudent to send again or to follow it up with your contacts.
We will of course keep monitoring this and update again if there's further issues.

We are awaiting advice from Vodafone following a Vodafone network outage.
SMS applications will obviously be affected by this outage, We will post an update when we hear back from Vodafone.
